Inspired by the Sea at Uni Surf Champs

I had work in the exhibition and designed posters and flyers for the event.

Manufactured landscapes

This is one of the most moving films I have seen, photographer Edward Burtynsky searches for mind blowing consumption all over the word. This clip is of a factory in China where they are making Irons, it is one shot through the factory that seems to be endless.

Surfing for the first time at Fistral (Newquay). I was under the influence of the lurggy so was all over the place but photographer Thomas Dymond managed to get some nice shots for the exhibitions promotion. Thanks for the photos Tom.

Inspired by the Sea

For Falmouth Uni and RELAYS I designed this postcard for the Inspired by the Sea exhibition which will be held at Fistral Blu in Newquay over the BUCS Surf Champs on the weekend of the 16th to 18th of October. This is where I will be displaying my under the surface photography installation. There will also be another photography piece, 2 new short surf films premiered, and live music from local bands.

My new favourite game?

Absolute Balderdash is a pretty cool game, I’ve played it twice and I came 2nd twice so that’s a pretty good for me I think. It evolves making stuff up and good hand writing skills are needed.

Under the Surface, a great reason to go surfing.

My leash snapped on my first wave whilst shooting some shots for the Inspired by the Sea exhibition so I thought I’d do some research. Thanks for the photos Spandex.
