This is the start of my Under the Surface curtains, when they go up for the exhibition they will be in the shape of a wave and show photos in order similar to this; checking the surf at the bottom, paddling in the middle and surfing at the top.

An incredible film re-scored by British Sea Power about a community living on the Irish Island of Aran and living of pretty much nothing. I watched them play live to the film at the Big Chill ,it was a pretty amazing and uplifting show. This kid kept a crab in his hat before fishing of the huge cliffs which edge the Atlantic Ocean.

Development work for Under the Surface, a commission for a RELAYS exhibition on the culture of surfing. RELAYS is providing funding for youth sport and art across the UK as part of the 2012 Olympic legacy scheme.
